My name is Claus. I was born and raised in Denmark, a little countryside north of Germany. Like the pope, I think it is important that different people talk with each other, Christians and Muslims, Europeans, Americans and Arabs. But I am not the pope, and I am not even Christian, so instead I spent most of the time since 2003 travelling the world with my best fiend Thomas and a box, that we now call The Dialogue or just nothing:
First we went to Iraq, just like the Americans, and we talked with a lot of different Iraqis, Sunnis and Shias and communists and poets and lawyers and businessmen and we even met the Americans. But they didn’t really want to talk to us. That is the problem: The Americans don’t really want to talk to other people. So next time we went to United States, and we met a lot of Americans, and we tried to stop them, but they didn’t stop, and so in the End we had to leave our box and go back to Europe.
But this time we want to go to Iran. Just like the Americans. But like the pope we really just want to have dialogues, like the pope we don’t want any one to misunderstand us, that’s all.
